Ladybarn Men

St. Chad’s Church in the parish of Ladybarn in Manchester was awarded a grant from the Lottery Heritage Fund to mark the centenary of the First World War by commemorating the men of their community who lost their lives in the fighting. The funding was to be used for an exhibition and accompanying book.

Working with a local historian we created a temporary exhibition display and commemorative book, combining a general overview of the war with the personal stories of the men from the community who fought and died during the four year conflict.

Alongside archive photos we created infographics and additional photography to accompany the text.

The exhibition was installed in St. Chad’s Church from 2014 – 2018.
